So, apparently, there was a total eclipse of the sun earlier today. I say "apparently" as I did not bear witness to this celestial event; it was overcast in the general area for most of the day. I did note that it was rather dark outside in the early afternoon (the time at which the eclipse would have been most full), though I wasn't entirely sure if it was because the sun was being blocked out, or because denser clouds were moving in.
It was a mild disappointment that I wasn't able to really experience the eclipse due to the weather. I say "mild", as I wasn't that interested in the eclipse, to begin with. Certainly, I'm not one of the thousands of people who drove thousands of miles just to get to a location where the eclipse would be more pronounced. That would really suck - to drive all that way, just to look at a cloudy sky.
Besides, I can just look at pictures and/or videos of the eclipse on the internet.
